I am adapting it so the bottom lip of the blower intake is at the same height as the bottom of the deck. I read another post referencing the installation of a grass collector and the bottom of the blower on his mower was installed according to the manufacturers instructions and it was 1” lower...

I’m adapting a Scag 48” Tiger Cat II to an older grass collector that supposedly came off a 48” Tiger Cub (year unknown). The bottom lip of the blower intake is 1” inch lower than the bottom of the deck. I’m concerned that it could get damaged if I use it like this. I can fabricate a bracket to...

Are all zero turn mowers with hydros pretty much run the same hydro pressures? What are the typical hydro pressures? Thanks in advance for your post!

I already have the pulley off & it looks very accessible. Would you have the part number for the seal? I think I will go ahead and change both hydro seals while I’m under it. One last question if you don’t mind? Is there a procedure and a product to use to flush a hydro system of contaminates...

The Scag M/N STCII-48V-23V an S/N 4601500684. Thanks in advance for any input!

Scag Tiger Cat II MN KT740-3042 2016 I need to replace a hydro drive shaft seal. Is it like replacing a crank shaft seat, are do l need to remove the pump to replace the seal?

I’ll put a few hours on it and post the progressive results it any. Thanks for your time!

Especially since all belts and pulleys are new?

Would it be safe to say that, “there is a approximate time for new belt break in” for belt whip action to stop?

It’s a 2016 48” Scag Tiger Cat II M/N STC II-48V-23CV, S/N 8900144 with a Kohler M/N KT740-3042 S/N 4601500684. I’ve researched everything that I can get my hands on an there are no parts measurements anywhere that I can find and assuming that this is the original engine that came with the...

Just picked up a 2018 Tiger Cat II and having to correct a lot of pretty bad mechanical faults caused by persons or person with less than 0 mechanical skills! I’ve replaced the clutch because it had been removed for some reason and when it was reinstalled it was beaten back onto the crank shaft...

Thanks for the reply! Would I check the coil by running a spark test while hot?
