I have a power washer that was used once last year and stored inside the house now it will not start it has a briggs motor #104m020126f1
I have changed out the gas, took the carb out and used carb cleaner on it, i did not take it apart it's made of plastic! it all looks brand new.
If i spray...
Looking to change the oil/filter but can't find what filter i need. It's a 725cc 24hp. The mower is a Craftsman T310 CMXGRAM1130047.
Trying to help dad as he has lost all the books, i can find a pdf online but it does not say the part #.
Looks like i have to take a few things off to get to the coil. The wire is ran behind a few things.
That one loose black wire should be the kill right?
So that wouldn't be anything to do with my issues then if it was not working correctly.
How does the low oil shut off work? Seems like just disconnecting it would not work.
It shuts off like you turn the on/off switch off.
Thanks for the help.
It will start the first pull and run for a few min. I have used new gas, oil, air filter, spark plug, even cleaned out the carb float, bowel and main jet they where all pretty clean. I think it's something with the low oil sensor. I have disconnected what i think is the sensor it is a yellow...
I have a power washer with a briggs and stratton motor i can only get it to start by using starting fluid.
What would the issue be? Once it's ran for awhile i can re-start it without using starting fluid.
Thanks for the help.
Why would a engine (Briggs & Stratton) in my mower only run for a few min and then just stop? It started right up the first run then dies after a few min then i had to use starter fluid to get it to run again and it ran for 3-4 min then dies.
I don't think it would run for a few min on starter...
