I take good care of everything I own. I had a Robin Weedeater for over 30 years, that only needed a carb rebuild, new recoil, etc. I have not gotten good service AT ALL from my last 2 gas ones. AND, they had worthless warranties . I am sold on Greenwork tools.

Yes, St. Augustine is tough to cut, & does not to be cut too short. The motor probably overheated & caused it to shut down. That mower is very capable of cutting her grass .

I have a Greenworks 60V system . It is overkill for my needs as far as the string trimmer, but it uses the same batteries as my mower. Very pleased with everything .

Clippings can gather under the mower in that area. Use a blower to remove those, then a little oil on the linkages.

If you are going to use the vacuum often, cut the grass more often & don't let it get too high, or cut too much off at a time. Never cut when wet. Run RPMS at full speed & drive a little slower. Clean inside of the chute & tube after each use. KEEP oil checked. Many of these have a Chinese built...
