got sterns key switch in replaced no change , did change the wiring took the red wire that was connected to b on jd switch and changed out with purple wire got nothing

set valves to .012 did compression check got 140 psi on each cylinder so why when valves set to correct specs it drops off to 60 psi

i picked up the following one from john deere dealership tca22740 and the drawing i sent was from the one i got from john deere

placed this engine 40h777-0168-e1 in a old john deere had to install new key switch, solenoid, and rewire, engine has been starting up and running good then for some reason will not start now, checked for spark on both cylinder's none, disconnected the coil ground wire still no spark, any clues...

have a xt2 13wia4cn010 that will not start and clutch will not engage, replace ignition switch and pto switch no change, did a wiring check everything looked good, so i am at a total loss as where to go now would like any help thanks in advance AC

owner tells me that he had to replace 2 starters and had the key switch replaced, not sure if key is oem or aftermarket
