Don't use power tools, all by hand. Have overtightened in past and learn from it. May try to get new housing and see. Thanks for input.

Order all from Amazon. Check the specs and hope for the best. No issues until this one.

This thing was shot when I got it. Old carb beyond cleaning/ not worth the time. Think will have to try gasket trick as per Star Tech. Let you know when it gets warmer down here... working outside.

Hi Craig, this is a new carb, right out of the box. Will look at the jets , didn't think I would need to. Thanks

Then again, if carb faulty, why would it run fine when started with carb cleaner/ starter fluid....

Just tried suggestion. Double gasket, new primer bulb. No gas from emulsion tube. Bad carb?

Got it not running at all. I flip them after fixing. All looks good so I don't know at this point.

Nope, metal. Got new one, compared to old one and all is same. Previous post suggested that gasket was not sealing/ to tight; put new gasket on and get same results. Just a hobby I got to fix and sell but this one has me puzzle.

Hello, fixing this one. Has Briggs 12L9020667 in it. New carb, plug, filter, gas line and primer bulb. Only start with starter fluid, keeps running after. Don't start with primer bulb, replaced it twice. Carb is identical to hold one. About to give up on it. Thanks
