Poulan Pro 220

Okay guys, I'm having trouble identifying exactly what type Poulan Pro 220 saw that I have. The decal on the side says 38cc. The tag near the handle indicates a 42cc. I assume it's a Type 4. Attached is a picture of the tag.

StarTech nailed it. Those old Poulan labels were confusing because the same powerhead got sold under different model numbers with different displacement ratings. If the tag by the handle says 42cc and StarTech confirms the shared crankcase, I would trust the tag over the side decal every time.

Well this is back when they played with the CC on the labels. The 220 was listed as 38cc and the 260 listed at 42cc. Both used the same PNC and crankshaft assembly. So basically it is a 42cc. And yes it is a type 4.

I was thinking Type 4 because the dash 4 at the end of the serial number.
It need a little work on it. It won't hold prime. I'll need the usual fuel lines, fuel filter, and bulb. It may need a carb kit or new carb, depending on what it looks like when I get it opened up.
It's been a darn good chainsaw. I hate buying a new one, if I absolutely don't have to.
Thank you so much @StarTech
