Tecumseh Carburetor Part Number Needed

I am having an extreme amount of difficulty finding a new carburetor for a Snapper walk-behind with a Tecumseh engine model TVS840-8011A 8104A. I bought it new in 1988. This is a side-draft carburetor (bolts to side of engine); it does NOT sit on top of the fuel tank.
The tiny number stamped into the carburetor appears to be either 1220 D85 OR 1220 D8S. Can anyone help me locate one, please?
