Hello I have a 2004 727k2 and it will mow just fine then after i stop after about 2 hours the battery is almost dead It will not charge I can't find the issue any ideals

What have you done to diagnose? Voltage regulator is suspect, could be various issues with wiring. You may have already done this, but I'd check/clean all battery/solenoid connections, connections to ignition switch etc. Voltmeter on battery, before starting, running, after running, etc.

Hello J.,

It helps us greatly if you provide the chassis product label information along with the engine label information. The rider manufacturer does not make the engines they install on their equipment

Have you had the battery tested?

Do you own a multimeter?

Before you hit speed dial for Amazon at buy a bunch of useless parts, try some diagnosis.

Teryl Fixes All, Chickanic and Dony Boy on You Tube have some good examples of finding electrical problems.

voltage has to be DC and it needs to be around 13V - 14V. If the charging circuit isn't putting that out, gotta figure out why.
