Husqvarna 48" deck belt snapped - will this John Deere replacement fit?

Hey everyone,
Deck belt on my Husqvarna riding mower snapped yesterday, right in the middle of the front yard, of course. 48" deck. Now I'm trying to find a heavy-duty replacement that isn't going to cost me a fortune.
While I was digging around for something in Kevlar (regular rubber ones seem to shred on me every season), I found this one: https://udcparts.com/products/gx21833-mower-deck-belt-replacement-for-john-deere-48-in-deck
It's listed as a John Deere part (GX21833), but I've seen it mentioned a couple times that some 48" JD and Husqvarna decks actually take the same belt — 1/2" x 141". Has anyone here actually run this exact one on a Husky deck? Or does anyone know if this site carries the Husqvarna-branded equivalent instead? I'd rather not just guess and end up dealing with a return. But if the cross-reference is real, I'll go ahead and order it.

The short answer is no it will not fit. JD tends to use a different belt cut angle then traditional belts which I will guarantee is different than the Husqvarna belt, and may be even a slightly different width, because cross reference manuals tend to use generic conversion widths.

At this point we don't even know what mower by model number you have, and different model numbers will use different belts even within the same deck size.

Find the product ID label on your mower and look up the parts on Parts Tree.

No, a JD 48" deck is not the same as one on a Husqvarna. Even JD had different 48" decks on many different models.
