Walbro LMK Carb on Kohler Courage 19 SV590-0002 problem

Good call. I looked at the pics and mostly thought it needed cleaning. I'd say replace fuel lines, tank to carb.
Appears he is saying the needle/seat is leaking.
If so he needs to also replace the fuel lines due to cracking and shedding and add a fuel filter and maybe a petcock if it's gravity flow.

Some thoughts:
Slight chance that it might not need a new needle/seat. (because old rotted fuel lines are shredding inside and sending trash towards the carb)

I would use a pressure tester on the carb to confirm a leaking needle/seat, then clean needle/seat and pressure retest. I would not install the carb until I cleaned up the fuel supply and installed a fuel filter.

If I did not have a pressure tester I would carefully clean the existing needle seat good, and while the carb is OFF the engine replace the fuel lines, install a filter and petcock if it's gravity flow, install the carb and test. If carb is still leaking then get a needle/seat or kit with needle/seat.
and I would take care of the Walbro carb. they are more user friendly to kit as compared to the Nikki's.

Here is a link to info about the LMK carb:

It won't be the first time Kohler had the wrong info posted.

Then the OP needs to let us know if a fuel pump is present or not as that would require a different Walbro inlet kit if pump fed.
I added a photo showing the fuel pump. I also added a photo of the carb showing the Walbro stamp.
You will notice that I added a shut off valve in fuel line and I close it and burn the gas out.

If I Dont close the valve and burn the fuel out it smokes white smoke when it is started again.

Now if won't crank and if I crank it a lot then furl will pore out the carb onto the ground into a puddle.

Sorry for the later reply my arm was ripped off when I lifted a car to save my neighbor when the car fell on him while he was under it working and I'm recovering so I have limited mobility and busy with thrraphy. Hoping to get this fixed so I can cut my grass!

See Forest's post above. Your float/needle may be leaking and causing the fuel puddle, and adding to the smoke on startup if you don't close the valve. Did you replace fuel lines? That one going to the carb looks like it's cracking. That's a sign to replace all the fuel lines, as they also break down on the inside and clog carbs, filters, etc.
