They have been out a while but seems no one is taking about them. Are they that bad? Any feedback is appreciated.
Echo mowers

Read the reviews on Echo's own site. People complaining about poor parts quality and such. Probably Chinese made so the CEO can have a another summer house and yacht.
Now Echo trimmers and blowers, buy them all day. Quality products everyone I've owned or used.
I don't own one nor have used one. Don't take my word for it. Now if they would make their mowers as tough as their trimmers.......

Next question: Are you in the market for a commercial unit or residential unit?
It looks like the Echo mowers are just Toro mowers in a different paint scheme.

Noticed the same thing. Personal Pace bar looks quite similar.
The Briggs and Stratton engine is another giveaway.
If I were in the market for a walk behind mower, I would look for a commercial unit.
The best walk behind mower that I ever owned was a 21" Snapper Ninja commercial.
Now you are talking. I have two in the garage. Would love a few more but I'm not "allowed to get more mowers" if you know what I mean.
It always gave a perfect cut. The drive system is better than any other on the market. I liked it having the spin on oil filter.
