Yep, the magic of destructive QA testing during development. Sears had some stringent testing guidelines before they would carry any product they sold.

I dealt with Sears tool products buyers years ago when I was a product development specialist for a company. I had to perform QA tests of all kinds, then they would review the information and validate it before making a commitment to carry our products.
