LTX1000 transmission not engaging

I have a LTX1000 that doesn't go in gear. I checked the belt and pulley and everything seems fine. What should I look for next?

According to Google it is not.

Post the real model number from the serial number tag as the layman model number is useless. Then we can look its IPL up as my research as has initially showed Hydro Gear hydrostatic as standard equipment but the Peerless manual transaxle was an option too.
