Hello all,
Trying to save a few bucks here by doing a repair myself, but have a problem.
I'm working on a wheeled trimmer, Model HU625HWT serial # 030713M 001174.
I took it apart this time last year, and have been waiting for the parts to come from Husqvarna since.
As a result I've forgotten my disassembly procedure, and of course did not take photos. The unit was seized completely (Not the motor).
I picked up the pieces today and have assembled them to the best of my recollection but there's an issue.
I have added photos below. The bearings were seized in the spindle assembly housing and couldn't be removed...I tried everything!!! #1 picture is the new one, and it came with one bearing in it at one end....and I thought following the included diagram it needed two. Now I'm not so sure, as the jack shaft (pic # 2) will not go far enough into the housing.
My question is should I have added a second bearing to the spindle assembly?
Second, if not, how on earth am I going to get it out....are there pullers that small?
Appreciate any help from Husqvarna people or someone who has done this before.
Thanks.

Here is a parts diagram that shows all the parts separated. The mowball assembly has to be removed from the shaft and then the shaft is slide down into the housing from the op where that bearing is installed in the spindle housing. The raised shoulder area in the center of the shaft sits between what will be a bottom and top bearing in the housing.

And if Husqvarna hasn't fix the shaft problem it will need the bearing journals knurled. As if the bearings are not press fit to the spindle shaft they will slip and wear out the shaft again. It only takes a thousand of an inch to cause the problem.

But it been a few years since my commercial customer was in business using these trimmers in a nursery setting.

Thanks guys....you confirmed what I thought.....the spindle housing assembly comes with one bearing....the jack shaft is then past through that bearing, and a second one is then inserted from the bottom. Now all I have to do is get that sucker out of there so's I can put it in the right way.!!!
