transaxle oil

If i overfill my transaxle oil will it throw out the excess when i mow? When i finish mowing there is some oil leak on the cement floor where the mower was parked when i mow the next time.
 
yes i know thats the norm just like a car radiator when it gets hot if you overfill it will throw out the excess but what i am asking is that the norm for the tranaxle reservoir on my husquvarna moower

Not knowing what transmission you have, I have a K66 the reservoir on it at room temperature is 3rd or 4th line from the bottom, less than 1/2 bottle.
