I am working on a 17.5 hp B&S Engine (M/N 31C707 3346 G6) and have encountered some problems. It seems that the repair manual would be very helpful. Does anyone have one or know where i can find one. Appreciated

Just read in your Briggs manual. Says NOT to use ANY special additives. That to me, would be Seafoam or Marvel Wonder oil and so on. And it just hit me why you shouldn't use Seafoam. I will post about it in the front porch area. Came from our talk about oils.

Not my manual, It is the Briggs provided manual. I have used both synthetic with moly and currently using Kawasaki oil with zinc in my 33 series.

But the engine out warranty use whatever you want to; its your engine.
