Today I picked up my newest addition after using a 78 John Deere 112 for years. This is my 98 John Deere 345. It is the cleanest 98 I have seen, older gentlemen owned this and it lived indoors. Deck has been rebuilt new spindles, blades, belts. Has an 18 horse liquid cooled kawasaki, the plastic cam was replaced with metal cam. 1000 hours immaculate condition. Love the power steering and Hydro lift on this 54" deck. What do you guys think? I walked away with it for $1800

Thanks, I searched for quite awhile, almost settled on a 325 with cosmetic damage but held out.

It probably wasn't that good of a deal. I bet it still had air from 2014 inside the tires !! :ROFLMAO:

Congrats.

That is a great deal. People around here think they are worth about twice that. Just a note that the cam gear was plastic, not the cam.
