Cluthc releases at very top of pedal travel on Murray Rideer

On 7/13/2019 I posted a question about problem with clutch or transmission. the Murray is model #425014x92b. I adjusted the clutch as instructed in the owner manual and now it releases at the very top of the pedal travel. Is this a sign of being too tight or too loose?

Thanks again mechanic mark; I replaced the motion drive belt with a new one and adjusted everything out. Just finished and took the mower (minus the deck) out on my road for trial. All works as it should and the clutch releases just as you said, about 2 inches from the floor. I really appreciate your help. Have a great day. It is 99 degrees here in Stephenville Texas.
