Does a 216 4vxa need cable to fix roto stop or should you replace lever and cable. Stop keeps tripping and can't mow.
Sorry, correction this is a 4vxa. MZCG 7760688.

Which exact model do you have? Get me the serial number (back of the mower deck..."MXXX-1234567) and I'll look up some details...

That serial number is showing up in my database as a HRR216K4TDA, not a VXA.

The TDA does not have Roto-Stop.

But, if you do indeed have a VXA, it will have a yellow lever for the RotoStop on the right side handlebar. Some of these units can 'release' the blade control unexpectely, due to a improperly shaped blade control lever. Your serial number was made well after a fix was implemented at the factory, but your mower can exhibit the symptoms.
