Do the seperate component drives utilize sintered/powder gears in some variants like the ZT's do in the EZT/2100-2800 series?
I see on the internet a lot of people rebuilding the pumps between 1100 and 1200 hours.
I have 1245 on my Grasshopper I guess I have been lucky
I realize that my GH is over 20 years old and technology has improved but boy my new JD Z trak sure is a better mower than the GH.
Notice I did not say sturdier but it cuts better and faster and it can turn around in a space that the GH could not.
The GH is 12 feet long, Wheelbase on the Ztrak is 48 inches and while it has a 54" deck I can mow my lawn faster than the GH with a 72" deck.
