I have a Fast Trak SD and I refuse to burn ANY ethanol in it or any of my lawn equipment for that matter...the only non ethanol fuel I can find is 93 octane. My FX691V just hit it's 40 hour mark and I haven't had any problems so far...my question is...is it OK to burn 93 octane fuel in it all the time...thanks

Yep, you wont hurt it running 97, you are just wasting about 50｢ /hr in extra fuel costs, which is nothing comparred to down time cleaning grud out of the fuel system.

Non-ethanol fuel around here is 91 octane. Ever see the Pure-Gas app for Android or Ios? Personally, the only reason I ever buy the stuff is a slightly better shelf life. Less moisture accumulation. That's it. Ethanol doesn't really hurt a thing and the decrease in power is tiny.

I've run 93 octane with 10% ethanol in all my commercial equipment for the last 11 years, mowers and hand held and never had any ethanol gas related issues. I wouldn't worry about running ethanol because the equipment is made for it so it's not going to hurt anything.

Fine because you run your gear daily clean and maintain properly and live in Florida where the ocean moderates the day night temperature differential and keeps the humidity down.

Your Laughable, Keep humidity down :laughing: Its 83 degrees right now with 64 % humidity,Winds ESE with a dew point of 69 and by morning were looking at humidity 72 to 74 degrees and it will probably be between 95 and 100% humidity.

Florida and Texas, with Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana gulf coasts not far behind, are the most humid regions in the country. Ocean breezes will help some but the oceans themselves contribute to the dew points.

So how many of you pull 200 l ( 40 gallons ) of condensed water off your roof overnight ?

You may be right...but your beatin a dead horse trying to talk me into using the garbage...ethanol is a JOKE and shouldn't even be produced and it survives on government subsidies... don't even get me started.

Currently it's 70 degrees 100% humidity, winds calm, dew point 64 pressure 30, visibility 10mi and it's about that way every morning and yes I have water running off my roof.
