When did Lawn Boy switch to electronic ignition?

I just got a Lawn Boy 10247 mower and it runs fairly well but I'm trying to get it to run better. Does this new of mower have points and condenser ignition or would it have electronic ignition. Before I take the whole thing apart to clean the points and adjust them, I want to make sure they are in there.

All Lawn Boy mowers have had electronic ignition since the mid 1970s. Your 10247 has no points or condenser.
