Repainting the hood.

I have a LA125, my hood is somewhat fading, is it ok too repaint it, if so what steps do I take.

the warranty has expired. it's a 2008 model

Why wouldn't it be? Just sand off the old and spray on the new. Just need to know how to use a paint gun and you're good to go.
