This is pretty much the only service I don't offer to my clients but I'm looking into adding it to the list of services I provide. The trouble is I have never done weed control before. I've fertilized spread lime and over seeded when asked. But weed control ( like what Tru Green offers ) in the form of liquid weed control is something I've not done. I'm seeking advice and methods on going about this. Also products used with good results would be great as well.

Find out your local and state laws you may need testing and.licencencing then you will need to look into equipment tanks and pumps and hoses and chemicals and mixes etc

Wa state will slap you with a $250,000 fine for using herbicides or pesticides commercially without all your licences. For me to used weed and feed would need 4 licences
Owner operator licences
Laws and safety licence
Ornamental weeds licence
And broadleaf weed licence

Exortion, is right you'll want to be properly licensed, google, office of state chemist and your state. It cost me $175 in Indiana and $62 a year to add it to my insurance. As far as products i use Gorden herbicides and granular I use Dow products. You can usually buy anything you need from your local co-op.

It's worth it, just think of all the business you're missing out on. It will pay for itself in a couple stops.
