Can you help identify this Toro w/ Suzuki 2-Cycle engine?

I can't find the model number anywhere on this mower. Any help please?

And I will admit it is quite dirty....it's cleaner now, although the paint is peeling from the aluminum deck!

What a light weight mower? Can't want to get it started (with gas/oil mix).

That engine is one of the best...period treat it good as for the model numbers looks like an old proline and the alminum deck is actually quite heavy.
 
Thanks exotion for the quick response! That's good to hear about the engine. I'll need to figure out (at least generally) what year and motor I've got on it, simply so I can read up on this mower and engine.

Oh my....just tonight, I looked under the steel plate that holds the speed and throttle adjustments....to my surprise, I found the model number -- it is a 1992 Toro model # 20321. Now the next challenge is to find a manual for it, so I can get better educated.

I'm glad you were able to find the model number. Mine was gone along with its decal. :laughing:

That Suzuki engine is a beast. The deck and handle are very well built as well.

There's another thread about these mowers... if you search for Suzuki you'll find it.
 
Thanks so much Two-Stroke. I've found the model as noted, and the Serial Number for the mower, and the Suzuki Engine number and Carb number. I've taken apart the carb, and have it soaking -- it was in rough shape. I'll put it together this morning, and hope to get it running today.

The deck is rough, and if it runs well, I might repaint it Toro Red and decide if I want to keep it. This is my first 2 stroke, and I got it for only $10, so I'm learning by doing. (Don't worry...I'll use gas/oil mix only!).

that thing looks like it caught fire! isn't that plastic cover on the self propelled parts melted?

Nope. Not melted, just dirty. I have the engine running, and am putting the pieces back together. May put a new blade on it, after I see what the current one looks like. It does run strong, and I anticipate mowing with it this weekend!
