I have no parking brake and 10 second delay before coming to a complete stop when in gear. I checked the brakes I least have half if not more left on the pads. How do you adjust them?

find the brake on the transmission, There should be a 1/2 inch nut at the end of a threaded stud, that holds the float piece of metal on that has the twist at the end to engage the brakes. tighten that nut slowly and keep checking the brake operation. Just don't get it too tight otherwise it can damage the tranny.

So check it every 1/2 turn?

1/2 may be fine to start, but may need to go to 1/4 turns when you get close. 1/2 turn may be all you need.
