Hello, new to this forum.

I have a Snapper Yard Cruiser model YZ 15384BVE. I parked it 2 seasons ago, for eating blade belts(whole other issue), and son had own machine and wanted to take over.

When I decided to move it, the left wheel would not turn. I jacked it up to check wheel spin by hand. Right side turns very steady, but left side stutters, and occasionally locks. Reverse the direction of spin slightly, then returning to forward, it moves again, but still stutters. Put the weight of the mower on it, and it locks.

These machines weren't around for long, and not well liked, so there is not much info out there on them.

Hoping somebody has some experience to help.

Thanks.

i used a yz 1333 for 15 years. Never even needed a belt for 12. so are you sure you dont have a an issue with the cables connecting to the hydro's? The only hydro related issue I ever had was that I lost the nut off the cable attachment to the rh hydro. Would only go in circles. Only other thing I had (other than some wiring grimlins... ) was the intermediate shaft siezed (electric pto mounts to the bottom of it) due to the bearing at the top going bad.
