ZT-2100 Whine

My ZT-2100s seem to be whining more and I notice it now over the engine noise. Mower is still very responsive however. I have about 175 hours on it and have done a couple drain and fills on the fluid (sucked out fluid from fill hole when hot after mowing). Unfortunately they are not serviceable so I can't drain them properly.

What would be best practice to keep them running longer? Is noise normal at 175 hours? Am I just being too nitpicky about the noise?

The engine/mower runs strong but I feel the hydros are the weak-point and I can't afford a new mower.

As long as it pulls good I would not worry about it and just keep running it. You could take some of the fluid out and add some Lucas Hydraulic oil booster and stop leak at 20%.
