zero turn spins and slides

I run a Toro z master it spins and slides when making turns. I have tried to things to prevent it like wider turns and no zero turns with no luck still tearing up lawns. I've noticed it doesn't seem to have a slow speed when I pull back the levers the wheels seem to lock up. Any suggestions maybe mechanical.

What model Z-Master, How old is the unit and have you checked the Hydraulic oil level in the expansion reservoir.

It's a 03 z 500 with 1100 hrs. The oil level is at the cold mark. I haven't checked it hot.

If it's level is good cold I'd leave it alone and not remove that cover when hot. What drives do you have in that thing?

Servicing the hydros, changing fluid and filters might cure the issue.
