looking at three ZTR with dealers near me. Toro Timecutter, Gravely , and Exmark. Looking at 42-50 inch mower. Any suggestions?

Not an easy post to answer. Timecutter is consumer grade. Gravely makes consumer grade mowers but also makes very good commercial grade. Far as I know Exmark only make commercial grade.
What is the intended use, how long do you want it to last, and how much do you want to spend?
