Picking up my new zero turn this week
How do I now if ground is to soft for this machine it's 700lbs? Can I cut in the rain?

You can cut in the rain but why would you need too? The Bunton ztr I have is closer to 1000 lbs if not over that, and it does ok on wet ground until it gets to muddy then it sinks. It is real easy to tear up a lawn on a zero when turning if it is to wet. I have had to pull mine out of the mud a few times.
