I am coming up to mu first oil change and would like to burn a 0-40 synthetic oil . Does this seem wise. I thought so for long term.---Thoughts please

Synthetic oil is a good choice, but I would use 10-40 or even 10-30. The cost is less, and unless you plan on running it this winter (Sub-freezing Temperatures), you"re wasting your money.
