Your Opinion on the Air Filters?

What do you think of these Ebay filters? Really cheap compared to the "dealership".

Same old same old, you get what you pay for. Must people disagree, but after 40+ years of doing this I never put a customer at risk. One bad compliant or poor part, means I have to make 25 people think I really do know what I am talking about. 95% of the time I will use OEM Parts. The other 5% parts are not available or I have tested the parts first.

I have found out that dealerships rip people off when it comes to parts and in most cases their parts are no better than what you can find elsewhere. I've come across this with belts, bearings and oil filters.
You may not fall into that category, but if you are like the ones down here in the south you might be. I have no problem with someone making a honest living, but they won't screw me but once.

Spindle Bearings $26 at dealership, under $10 for American made at Bearings and Drives Inc.

Deck Belt $68 at dealership, $29 for one at B and D that is Kevlar reinforced.

Oil Filter $12.99 at Dealership, Wix replacement was $5.99 at local autoparts store.

I'm all for a bargain, for example, when I buy Vacuum Cleaner bags I always buy Electruepart rather than the manufacturers bags and as long as I know the part is of good quality, I'll give it a go!

I'm not saying you should if you don't feel comfortable doing so however.

Replacment parts are fine as long as the are of good quality,some are most are not
