Yard Master 550e carburetor spraying gas

Hey everyone,

My mower wouldn't start as I haven't used it in a while. I cleaned out the carburetor and it started out. However, the white piece that sticks out is squirting gas and so is the air filter/primer button. Now it won't start again and I think it's because no fuel is getting to the engine due to leaking out. If I press the primer button it just squirts out of the white tube. Any ideas as to what the problem is?

Sounds like float valve not shutting off the fuel flow allowing it to overflow the carb.
