Yamaha and honda engine problems

I have a 89 yamaha g2 golf cart with a 295 cc yamaha engine the only problem with it is it has a chronic case of catching on fire it's done it 3 times now and I can't find where it's starting at, also I have a honda gx390 engine that I'm rebuilding but I can't get the new piston into the cylinder with the new rings on. Please help

Most auto parts stores, and sears carries a compressor that would be fine for what you are doing. The one that I use in the shop is a craftsman.
