this new mower has an annoying safety feature. If you don't lift backup button the deck shuts off. It is controlled by an electrial switch. Has anyone done a wire jumper to override this? My old mower did not have this function.

I hold the control out as far as it will go, and slip the key tag on the key under the control. The key tag on mine is about an eighth of an inch thick made of soft plastic. Works great and eliminates that annoyance.
