Hi looking for an idea to start looking. I have a x300r and I just replaced the belts and I am testing it out before i reassemble the rear bag assy. Mower starts and drives fine. The problem starts when I try to engage the pto. If the brake is engaged the engine stays running. If I let the brake off and press the bag install switch the engine shuts off. The position of the pto switch does not matter. The engine dies as if I turned the key off. It is not bogging down like the belts are two tight or a bad bearing. I have engaged the pto like this before while the bag is not installed while clearing a clog.
