Repairs worth it or not

I CAME ACROSS A 1554 CUB FOR SALE OWNER SAID ENGINE RUNS GOOD BUT HE HAD TO HAVE A PIN IN THE TRANSMISSION REPLACED 3 TIMES AND WAS TIRED OF THE REPLACEMENT HASSLE AND BILL AND BOUGHT A NEW SIMPLICITY. HE IS WANTING 200.00 FOR IT AND FROM WHAT I CAN SEE IT LOOKS REASONABLY CLEAN. HOW HARD IS IT TO REPLACE THIS PIN AND IS IT A ISSUE WITH THESE TRACTORS

post up the Factory Number that may help someone on here....it will start with 13A and also find out what this (pin) is because there are more then one pin in the box.
