wont start

Hello.,My cub cadet 139cc push mower wont start. If I put gas in srark plug hole or spray into carb it will run till gas is gone. I removed carb and cleaned it up and used bread twist tie to clean holes and blew it out. it started after that but the enginbe was surging and then leveled out . it stated that day. Next day it wont start again.. Parts in canada arent readily available. Any ideas what to do?????

You seem to have spark, so I would go for another carb clean, you have missed out something, and also make sure you have good seal's (gaskets) between carb and engine.
