Hi, I am resently working on a honda HRA214. It had a problem starting. I cleaned tge carb then I got it to start but it was running very fast then I heard a "ping" noise then it stalled. And the blades won't turn when I pull tge crank. What do I need to check first?

Sounds like the motor locked up, you may have to have it rebuilt.
