Hi There,I'm in the process of trying to get an old LX178 up and running but sadly it looks like the ignition key module is knackered.
My question is can I bypass this module and modify the wiring to provide a working machine or is the key module linked into the ignition control module on the side of the engine?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Have fun...I haven't tried myself but should be possible.
Many thanks for the diagram Star Tech,having this will make life much easier now.
I'm sure I can get a motorcycle system to run on this.
