I have a Toro 42" Timecutter, 21hp fuel injected Kawasaki engine. I installed a gas shut-off valve because it didn't have one. Now I am wondering if it didn't have a shut-off valve for a reason. Will / can it damage the engine, fuel pump or injectors if I shut the gas off and run it out of gas for the season?
