After the last mow for the season, cleaned up the entire machine with special care under the deck. Give the engine a good cleaning under the fan, changed the oil and air filter, went to a WIX 51391 on the oil filter, largest so far. Put the machine up on stands to give the tires a break.
Hopefully if any critters find their way into my building, they'll op for the peanut butter in my bucket traps before my machines.

Leaf duty is my Snapper RER’s primary mission, so it’s still on full alert, but here in NC the end of leaf season is drawing near. When it does go into standby I remove the battery and stand it up on its hind quarters, so no need to put it on blocks. But thanks for the tip, I’ll do that for my JD rider. While on the subject of tires: reminder that with the cold weather your tires need more air. I checked my 3 vehicles a couple of weeks ago and all the tires were 3-4 psi too low.
