Hi guys! Asking for a friend. He has a Craftsman 917.272040 rider and just picked up a 40" 2 stage 48624839 for cheap and asked me if it would fit his machine and I have no idea. Cant find anything about fitment online but I did find the manuals for each but they dont help.

That snowblower fits many models of mowers. There are many different mounting kits too. If it is compatible you will need to find the mounting kit for that mower. I actually have that snowblower frankensteined onto a 1972 Roper made sears ST12 mower.
