I have a Troy-Built, 6.75 B & S, self propelled, model 12AV5560711/183621. It will start but only run a few seconds. I have taken the carburetor off; cleaned it with carb cleaner. I took the float, gas valve, and seat out first. This carb was dirty and dry when I took it off. After cleaning, reassembled carb. I blew into carb from the gas inlet and air went in; turned it upside down and no air went in so the valve is doing it's job. Now, I prime it several times without starter fluid and it starts right up. Dies after a few seconds so it's not getting a continual flow of gas. Gas runs through the gas line very easily and comes out fast. I'm stumped. Any ideas?

Jet is plugged. The one that looks like a bolt which holds the float bowl on. Make sure both the vertical and horizontal holes are open.

It's amazing that is a jet. Just seems like a bolt to me holding the bowl on. I did spray carb cleaner into the holes and they seemed open. I will do it again and maybe put a pin in there and see if anything comes out. Thanks.
