Attachments Will a 1999 Model VAC961 mount on a 2008 3452 mower deck?

I have a 2008 723K with 52" Power-Lift deck and I would like to add on a Vacuum Collection System. I have a line on a lightly used VAC961. Upon visiting Grasshopper Lawnmower Parts - Grasshopper Mower Parts Diagrams - The Mower Shop, Inc. WEB site I found that there are the following models with most of the same parts: VAC944, VAC948, VAC952, & VAC961.

Is a simple adapter added or do I need to replace parts?

Also, I have Dual-fork tail wheels; do I need to change that to a minimum of a Wide-stance, single fork tail wheel setup?

I am impressed with Grasshopper online Tech support. Twice now, they have answered my questions overnight.

The answer is no and the parts purchase to make it happen would be more expensive than purchasing a new vacuum system.
