I simply don't see the point of it!

As with Twitter, I think it is just something people use to publicly tell people stuff, like...

"I went out and bought a cucumber that was down on price! Bargain!" :laughing:

And the stories about paedophiles talking to girls on there doesn't exactly help my feelings.

You can use Facebook for so much more that just daily "what I'm doing" or "I hate my life" status :laughing: I have used it for my business now for 4 years and the people you can reach, stay in touch with, network through is incredible. I would say weekly Facebook probably makes me around $500 in graphic design jobs. Thats $ I wouldn't have if I didn't utilize Facebook or any other Social Networking web site.

To me, Facebook is more like a giant chat room. I am retired, have loads of time to go there, yet I rarely do. HEY, I just killed this pesky mole that was in my iris patch. Hey, the neighbor's dog just c---- on my yard. Hey, a robin just hit one of my windows. Hey, the mail was just delivered. Hey, gotta water the garden. Hey, gotta feed the cats. Hey, gotta go sit on the pot. Hey....I will shuttup now. :laughing:
