which spark plug to use

i recently got a lawnboy 7264 with a d-600 engine which spark plug does it take it didnt have one in it

LAWN-BOY recommends the use of the Champion CJ-14 spark plug.

Plugs should be cleaned and gapped every 25 hours of operation.

The correct gap for LAWN-BOY engines is:. D-400 SERIES .025" D-600 SERIES .035"

Try a E3 spark plug first fire ff-14 which is a better plug.

I'd personally recommend an NGK plug over the Champion. Look for a BM4A or a BM4Y plug. The engines I've had over the years always seemed to run better with an NGK plug in them...

Yes, NGK is the superior spark plug for many applications.
