which lawn mower should i buy, i'm new homeowner?

Sorry, I don't know what kind of grass is this. Any here to identify type of grass will be much appreciated.

My lot size is 125 * 50 feet. So yard size is less than 1 acre.

Well with that lawn I think I'd stay away from the Green works and stay with something like DK35vince suggested, the Toro would be a good choice or maybe one of the Honda mowers they sell at Home Depot would work for you.

Honda hrr would be great for you. The Honda hrx might be overkill buy hey more power! I've never used snappers so I can't say much about them. And toro is good I would avoid the briggs and straton engines on them tho. I like the toro personal pace mowers with the toro brand mower and the Honda hrr216 for you

Thank all of your reply. I should have stated this earlier. My budget is less than $200. I looked out for toro, snapper, honda..they all cost above $300. Can you recommend lawn mower's less than $200?

For less than $200 your not going to much in the way of a mower. You may want to consider buying used from Craigslist. They have or you can sometimes get really good deals on some quality mowers. I personally would stay away from a Honda engine and Briggs and would look at something with a Kawasaki or Kohler engine. JMO or :2cents:

You could always go to Wal-Mart and buy a Bolens side discharge push mower for around $100 brand new. 125'x50' is not a lot of yard to mow.
