Hello,

I have a Honda HRX lawnmower. Please see attached pictures for the details.

When I search on https://www.honda-engines-eu.com/nl/wisselstukken for part numbers I have no match with this engine number.

What am I doing wrong and where can I find the correct parts list?

For Honda push mowers their engine are part of the mower so that is what you must look up normally for engine parts.

Okay than I have to use the code on the mower deck instead of the code on the engine.

But does anyone know where I can look for a parts diagram?

good luck. Might want to check with a local Honda mower dealer. All the HRX engines online are "217" etc and not 537 other than some news articles when the engine number you have was released back in 2005. I even tried archive.org to see if anything came up on the Honda page, but even back then the 217 number was being used. I saw a 537 series in the UK and Ireland but nothing here. Best guess is there is another sticker on it, or a dealer can translate that number into something in the Honda system.

@BertPleizier are you overseas? appears the HRX537HXEA is common in Britain and Ireland.

The closest IPL I have found is HRX537 HXE.

Also found a Polish site but my translator wasn't able to convert it. A couple other site I simply can not access from my area.

I contacted a Honda dealership and they said that when Honda uses their own Honda engines for their Honda lawn mower, the complete lawn mower (so mower + engine) will get a unique serial number, and the serial number on the engine itself will not be in the Honda database any more.

To find parts you must search with the Honda lawn mower serial number on the mower deck and only dealerships can look in the database at Honda.
